Welcome!

Welcome to Tiffany Hills Animal Hospital. We are a small personal "boutique-like" veterinary hospital. We invite all healthy and sick dogs, cats, puppies and kittens to our facility. Aggressive, ugly, unruly pets need not apply. We would prefer to only work with pet owners that are caring and friendly as we strive to be. If the clinic's atmosphere is positive and uplifting, then your pet is in the best possible place to receive the best possible care. It has been proven that lowering a patient's anxiety speeds the healing process.

We promise to provide very afforable care. However, being a private business our prices will be higher than subsidized businesses like the Humane Society, Kansas City Spay and Neuter, Angel up in St. Joe or NAWS. There is nothing wrong with these subsidized facilities and Dr. Fortney recommends them for routine services like spays, neuters and vaccinations. However, if you desire a consistent, loving staff and quality services beyond the routine, then we are what you need.

Appointments

We are all about appointments. Your appointment is your time with the veterinarian, technician and front office staff. Because our day is dictated by the schedule, we may be doing another appointment, treatment, surgery, or errands and be unable to respond to unscheduled arrivals. Call to schedule an appointment: 816-880-9500.

Office Hours

We are open six days a week:

Monday and Tuesday — 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday — 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Thursday and Friday
— 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday — 7:30 a.m. to Noon
Sunday — Closed

On occasion, we have to close the office for personal reasons, doctor appointments, family emergencies (Yuck), or waiting for the repairman to show up (double Yuck).

Emergencies

During office hours, call the office and tell the receptionist the severity of the pet's emergency and we will get you in ASAP.

After hours emergencies are very stressful. Kansas City has two emergency veterinary hospitals: Blue Pearl Specialty and Emergency Pet Hospital located at the SW corner of 152 Highway and N. Oak Trafficway, and Mission Med Vet on Johnson Dr. in Mission, KS.
